Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service. Usage Data may include information such as Your Device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that You visit, the time and date of Your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

We use this information to provide features of Our Service, to improve and customize Our Service. You can enable or disable access to this information at any time, through Your Device settings.

To provide and maintain our Service, including to monitor the usage of our Service.
To manage Your Account: to manage Your registration as a user of the Service.
To contact You: To contact You by email, telephone calls, SMS, or other equivalent forms of electronic communication regarding updates or informative communications.
To provide You with news and offers: To provide You with news, special offers and general information about other goods, services and events which we offer.
To manage Your requests: To attend and manage Your requests to Us.
To process and manage subscriptions and in-app purchases: including free trials and billing.

User Authentication & Login

We use third-party authentication services (Google via Firebase Authentication) to allow users to sign in to the app. When you sign in, we collect your email address and display name to create and manage your account. This information is used to personalize your experience and is stored securely in our systems.

Account Deletion & User Rights

You may request that we delete your account and all associated data at any time.

Within the app: You can delete your account using the "Delete Account" option located in the Profile/Settings screen.
Outside the app: If you no longer have access to the app, you may request deletion by contacting us at lazycalorietracker@gmail.com.

Once an account deletion request is submitted, we will remove your account and all associated personal data (including profile information and preferences) from our systems within a reasonable timeframe. Aggregated or anonymized data may be retained for analytics or compliance purposes, but cannot be linked back to you personally.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services as part of providing the app:

Firebase Authentication – for managing user login.
Firestore Database – for storing user profiles and preferences.
Firebase Crashlytics – for detecting and diagnosing crashes.
RevenueCat – for managing in-app purchases, subscriptions, receipt validation, and entitlement checks.

These services may collect additional information such as device identifiers or usage metrics in accordance with their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal data or share it with unaffiliated third parties except as necessary for processing subscriptions (e.g., with RevenueCat and Google) or as required by law.

Payments and Subscriptions

Our Service offers optional in-app subscriptions, including a 7-day free trial followed by automatic monthly billing. These subscriptions are managed through Google Play Billing and RevenueCat.

We use RevenueCat, provided by RevenueCat, Inc., as a third-party service to handle subscription purchases, validate receipts, manage entitlements (e.g., premium features and premium flag), and process subscription events such as trials, renewals, cancellations, and refunds.

When you make a purchase or start a trial:

Google Play Billing handles all payment processing, including any credit card or payment method details. We do not collect, store, or have access to your full payment card information or other sensitive financial details.
RevenueCat and Google Play Billing collect and process purchase-related information on our behalf, such as receipt tokens, transaction IDs, purchase history, subscription status, and limited identifiers (e.g., anonymous app account IDs or Google account-linked identifiers necessary for validating purchases and granting access to premium features).
This data is used solely to provide and manage your subscription, confirm your entitlement to premium features (including updating your premium flag in Firestore), prevent fraud, handle refunds or cancellations, and comply with billing requirements.
RevenueCat may also collect certain usage metrics related to subscription events for analytics purposes in accordance with their privacy policy.

Retention of Your Personal Data

The Company will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

Security of Your Personal Data

The security of Your Personal Data is important to Us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect Your Personal Data, We cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If You are a parent or guardian and You are aware that Your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us.
